Ferdinando Spina is an Associate Professor of Sociology of Law at the Department of Human and Social Sciences, University of Salento. He holds a Ph.D. in 'Sociology of Everyday Life and Qualitative Research Methods' from the same institution. His research focuses on legal culture, media representation of crime and justice, foundational economy, and judicial systems. He has held visiting positions at institutions including the University of Trier (Germany), Oñati Sociology of Law Institute (Spain), Coventry University (UK), and Jinan University (China).
