His research focuses on utilizing tree rings to investigate Earth's climate history and forest ecosystem dynamics.
Research Interests:
- Application of X-ray densitometry and computed tomography (CT) to tree-ring studies
- Climate variability and change through dendrochronological records
- Forest ecosystem responses to extreme precipitation events
- Quantitative wood anatomy and tree-ring modeling
