About
Felix Rasehorn serves as a Visiting Professor in Product Design at the Faculty of Architecture, Technical University of Berlin (Winter Semester 2023/24), while concurrently pursuing doctoral studies through the PEP program and conducting research at the Matters of Activity cluster since 2020. He co-founded WINT Design Lab in Berlin in 2019, focusing on ecological and technological responsibility in design.
His academic foundation includes product and interaction design studies at Weissensee Academy of Art and Design Berlin, alongside institutions in Gothenburg and Istanbul.
Rather than traditional publications, Rasehorn produces practice-based research outcomes centered on biomimicry—specifically tessellation patterns in nature—to develop wearable membranes that bridge design, biology, and sustainability. This work emphasizes responsible innovation through tangible knowledge artifacts for interdisciplinary dialogue.
Research resources flow through the Matters of Activity cluster and WINT Design Lab, enabling collaborative projects where students engage in sustainable design applications and biomimetic experimentation under his supervision.
He leads WINT Design Lab as a Berlin-based hub for ecological design research, developing products and services that address contemporary environmental challenges through technological innovation.
