Felix Petersen

Felix Petersen is a research assistant at the Institute of Social Sciences, Humboldt University Berlin, specializing in comparative democracy research and political systems in Eastern Europe. He is involved in a joint research project with METÜ University on constitutional courts' influence on transformation processes.

His research focuses on political theory, particularly democracy and constitutional theory, alongside comparative political science, protest politics, and transformation research. His 2013 publication explores theoretical links between revolutions, protest, and social change.

Active in academic governance as a member of the scientific advisory council of the German Young Academics Association for Political and Social Science (since 2012). Participated in conferences including the ECPR Graduate Conference (2012), Radical Democracy Conference (2011), and events at University of Osnabrück and FU Berlin.
