About
Felix Mannhardt is an Assistant Professor in the Process Analytics group at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and co-founder of KIT-AR. He earned his Ph.D. from TU/e in 2018 with a thesis on Multi-perspective Process Mining.
His research develops process mining methods for low-level event data, including event abstraction, activity recognition, and privacy-preserving techniques. He focuses on conformance checking that combines control-flow with data rules, and addresses trust/privacy concerns in industrial environments.
Mannhardt's publications show consistent innovation in process mining applications across healthcare, manufacturing, and cybersecurity domains. His research evolves from foundational methodologies to implementations addressing real-world challenges in data-sensitive environments.
Awards include multiple best paper prizes and the Celonis Thesis Award (2019). He has developed open-source contributions to ProM and bupaR frameworks.
He teaches 'Advanced Process Mining' and supervises projects on process analytics. Mannhardt has organized workshops on trust and privacy in process analytics at major conferences.
