Felix Holl

Dr. Felix Holl serves as Deputy Head of the DigiHealth Institute and Research Associate for Digitalization in Healthcare at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) within the Faculty of Health Management. He joined HNU in 2018 and has been instrumental in advancing digital health initiatives through research and practical implementation.

Dr. Holl's educational background includes:

• Ph.D. (Dr. rer. biol. hum.) in Medical Informatics from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (2023)
• Postgraduate training in Public Health at UMIT in Austria
• M.Sc. in Global Health Sciences from University of California, San Francisco as a Fulbright Scholar

His research focuses on evaluating health informatics projects with special emphasis on global health applications and digital solutions for international disaster response. Dr. Holl bridges clinical practice and information technology, bringing extensive field experience from prehospital emergency medicine. He chairs the Global Health Informatics Working Group of the American Medical Informatics Association and serves as Associate Editor for npj Digital Public Health while contributing to editorial boards of BMC Digital Health, PLOS Digital Health, and Digital Health (Sage).
