Felix Balzer

Prof. Dr. med. Dr. rer. nat. Felix Balzer is a tenured W3 Professor of Medical Data Science at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, where he serves as Director of the Institute for Medical Informatics and Deputy Chief Medical Officer for Digitalization since February 2025. His work bridges clinical medicine and information technology, focusing on patient-centered digitalization, routine clinical data utilization, and interdisciplinary innovation.
