Felix Arndt is a Professor and John F. Wood Chair in Entrepreneurship at the Department of Management, Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics, University of Guelph. He also serves as a Research Fellow at the Stockholm School of Economics' Center for Business and Sports. His research focuses on strategy, entrepreneurship, international business, and innovation, particularly exploring how organizations leverage technological innovation and dynamic capabilities to maintain competitive advantage. Additionally, he investigates challenges faced by entrepreneurs in extreme contexts and MNE operations in emerging markets, incorporating corporate social responsibility in contested industries.
Arndt holds editorial roles at journals like Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences, British Journal of Management, and Strategic Change. He has secured grants from global agencies including the Chinese National Science Foundation, British Academy/Leverhulme, and SSHRC. His work appears in top journals such as Academy of Management Review, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Business Venturing Insights.
As an educator, Arndt has taught in prestigious programs worldwide and contributed to founding entrepreneurship centers. Beyond academia, he is an active entrepreneur, inventor (with patents), consultant, and policy advisor.
