Felipe Espinosa Zapata is a Full Professor in the Electronics Department at the University of Alcala, Spain. He holds a Ph.D. in Telecommunications from the University of Alcala (1998) and an M.S. from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (1992). His research focuses on electronic and network control systems applied to intelligent transportation, smart cities, and industrial automation. He has led 18 publicly funded projects and 22 industry-funded initiatives, contributing to 9 patents.
