Dr. Fei Wang is a Research Fellow in Gerontology at the University of Southampton's Department of Gerontology. Her research focuses on aging-related social determinants, policy interventions, and intergenerational support systems for older adults. She holds a PhD in Social Policy and has contributed to projects sponsored by Alzheimer’s Association/UK Alzheimer’s Society and the Global Brain Health Institute.
Education: PhD in Social Policy (focus on wellbeing dynamics of older women, family support interactions). Current roles include analyzing public financing of home care for dementia patients and evaluating intergenerational support frameworks.
Recent work includes a 2024 report on mental health care for older adults in Southampton. Active in the Centre for Research on Ageing.
