Fei Peng

Dr. Fei Peng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Clemson University, affiliated with the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences. He holds an adjunct role in the Clemson University School of Health Research. His education includes a Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology (2009) and M.S./B.S. degrees from Tsinghua University (2005/2000).

His research focuses on advanced ceramic manufacturing, machine learning-driven material design, and energy conversion systems. Key areas include laser-based additive manufacturing, microstructure prediction via AI, and high-temperature material properties.
