Fazel Naghdy

Professor Fazel Naghdy is a faculty member at the University of Wollongong's School of Electrical, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering. His research focuses on control systems, robotics, and human-machine interaction with applications in automotive engineering, biomedical systems, and smart technologies. He has supervised numerous PhD and Master's students in areas like driver fatigue detection, robot-assisted rehabilitation, and vehicle control systems.

His recent work includes advancing shared control systems for automated vehicles, improving fault-tolerant mechanisms in steer-by-wire systems, and developing AI-driven solutions for engineering design. He has contributed to over 300 publications, including seminal reviews on electric vehicle suspensions and robotic automation in mining.
