Fay Ellwood

Fay Ellwood is an Associate Professor of English at Hope International University. She holds a Ph.D. in English and Religion from Claremont Graduate University, an M.A. in Hebrew Bible and New Testament from Claremont School of Theology, and a B.A. in English Literature from Goucher College.

• Teaches courses ranging from composition and literature surveys to specialized topics in biblical influences in American literature
• Research focuses on intersections between biblical texts and American literary traditions

• Former tutor/editor and ballet teacher with diverse professional experiences

Her recent publications explore biblical reception history, dance in literary contexts, and prophetic themes in 19th-century American fiction. She has also contributed as manuscript editor for significant literary anthologies.
