Fatima Cande is a Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Southampton's Department of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics. She serves as Programme Lead for the BA Language, Culture, and Communication and coordinates Year Abroad programs for Portuguese-speaking countries. Her academic background includes a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures from the University of Aveiro and a Master's in Portuguese Teaching as a Second and Foreign Language from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
