Fatemeh Nargesian

Fatemeh Nargesian is the James P. Wilmot Distinguished Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Rochester's Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences. She holds a PhD from the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on data management, particularly in discovering and integrating heterogeneous data across large repositories. She applies probabilistic methods and machine learning to optimize data acquisition costs, enable scalable climate data analysis, and develop algorithms for data lake navigation.
