Farha Sattar

Dr Farha Sattar is a Lecturer in Education (Mathematics) at Charles Darwin University's College of Indigenous Future, Education and Arts. She specializes in STEM education, integrating mathematical modelling, geoscience, drone technology, and spatial technologies into teaching. Certified as a drone pilot and aeronautical radio operator, she focuses on innovative pedagogical approaches for underrepresented groups in STEM.

Her research emphasizes STEM pedagogy, teaching technologies, and promoting STEM access for marginalized communities. Dr Sattar collaborates with Northern Territory schools and community organizations, delivering interactive STEM sessions and professional development for teachers. She received the NT-level 'STEM Hero of the Year' award for her contributions.
