Prof. Fanny Janssen is an Honorary Professor in Mortality and Longevity at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Spatial Sciences and a Senior Researcher at the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI-KNAW). She holds a PhD in Medical Demography (2005) from Rotterdam and has been active in academic research since.
