Fang Wang

Fang Wang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at California State University, Dominguez Hills. With a B.S. and Ph.D. from Fudan University and postdoctoral training at UCLA, Dr. Wang specializes in developmental biology and neuroscience research using zebrafish models.

Research Focus: Investigates molecular mechanisms regulating touch-sensing neuron development and environmental responses using zebrafish models. Studies implications for peripheral neuropathy caused by genetic defects or diseases like diabetes.

Academic Leadership: Currently serves as Coordinator of the Biology Master of Science Program.
