Fanella Tague

Fanella Tague is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish and Director of Placement Exams at Meredith College, serving in a part-time adjunct capacity since 2002. She is a Meredith alumna, having earned her B.A. there, and has taught a range of Spanish language courses, methodology, and observed student teachers. Her professional development includes annual participation in state/national conferences, such as presenting on 'Tech Tools in the Classroom' at the 2015 ACTFL conference.

Her expertise focuses on language pedagogy, integrating technology in education, and teacher training. She holds certifications including ACTFL OPI Tester and NC World Languages Collaborative membership. Tague’s commitment to teaching excellence was recognized through the 2017-2018 Adjunct Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching.

She oversees placement exams and contributes to teacher preparation programs, emphasizing practical methods for language instruction.
