Dr. Faith Alele is a Senior Lecturer in Public Health at the School of Health, University of the Sunshine Coast. She holds a PhD in Health (2022) and an MPH&TM (2017) from James Cook University, alongside a MBBS from Igbinedion University (2010). Her clinical experience includes tropical medicine in rural Nigeria, focusing on maternal health, infectious diseases (Ebola, Lassa fever), and non-communicable diseases.
Her research spans public health, medical education, and occupational/heat-related illnesses. Notable grants include studies on Lassa fever and co-infections, rural generalist training, and gamification in medical education.
