Faisal Anwar

Faisal Anwar is Professor in the School of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at Curtin University. His research focuses on sustainable water management with expertise in stormwater treatment, hydrological modeling, and climate change impacts on water resources.

Research areas:

• Stormwater quality improvement using green media
• Climate change effects on catchment hydrology
• Floating treatment wetland technologies

Recipient of multiple teaching awards including National Citation Award and JSPS Fellowship. Leads projects on nutrient removal from stormwater using ecological engineering approaches. Extensive publication record in water research journals.
