About
Facundo Memoli is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Rutgers University. He holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota (2005) and degrees in Electrical Engineering and MMS from Universidad de la República, Uruguay. His research focuses on metric geometry, topology, probability, and their applications to science and engineering. He leads the Network Data Analysis group and is a member of the OSU TGDA group. Memoli has been supported by NSF grants, including NSF-AF-2310412, NSF-IIS-1901360, and NSF-DMS-2301359. His work bridges theoretical foundations with practical applications in topological data analysis, shape comparison, and network analysis.
