Fabio Michelucci is a Full Professor of Economics at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, affiliated with the Department of Economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from University College London (2007), an M.Sc. from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2001), and a B.A. from the University of Florence (2000). His research focuses on Microeconomic Theory, Industrial Organization, Market Design, and Auction Theory, with notable contributions on reserve price mechanisms and auction dynamics.
He has taught Microeconomics, Game Theory, and Public Economics at various academic levels, including Ph.D. programs at CERGE-EI and Ca' Foscari. His work has been recognized with awards such as the Fernand Braudel Senior Fellowship (2017) and the Premio from the Instituto Valenciano de Investigaciones Economicas.
