FOURATI Sonia

Sonia Fourati is an Associate Professor at Sorbonne University (formed from the merger of Paris VI and Paris VII universities), affiliated with the Faculty of Science and associated with the Department of Probability, Statistics and Modeling. She holds the HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches), a post-doctoral degree required in France to supervise PhD students. Her research focuses on stochastic processes, particularly Lévy processes, scattering theory, and optimal transport theory, with collaborations involving researchers from Tunisia and France. She has taught courses in Mathematical Engineering (Génie Mathématique) and has been involved in administrative duties as a member of the INSA Rouen's Conseil de Surveillance (CS).
