F. Studt

Prof. Dr. F. Studt is a Professor at the Institute for Chemical Technology and Polymer Chemistry (ITCP) within the Faculty of Chemistry at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and serves as Director of the Institute for Catalysis Research and Technology (IKFT) at Campus North.

His research centers on quantum chemical simulations for catalytic reactions, combining computational chemistry, theoretical modeling, and catalyst analysis. The Applied Computational Catalysis group develops advanced simulation frameworks to unravel reaction mechanisms and optimize catalytic processes in chemical engineering contexts.

Prof. Studt leads the Applied Computational Catalysis group at ITCP, leveraging high-performance computing to address challenges in catalysis research. The group collaborates closely with IKFT to bridge fundamental computational insights with applied catalysis technology development.
