Ewan Harrison

Dr. Ewan Harrison is a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Medicine at the University of Cambridge and an Honorary Fellow in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care. He concurrently holds a Career Development Fellowship through the UKRI Innovation Fellowship at the Wellcome Sanger Institute.

His research investigates the genomics of inflammation and immunity, with specialized focus on Staphylococcus aureus pathogenesis in human and animal hosts. This interdisciplinary work bridges genomics, microbiology, and infectious disease epidemiology to understand bacterial adaptation and host-pathogen interactions.
