Evi Eftychiou

Dr. Evi Eftychiou is a Lecturer at the Department of Law, School of Law, University of Nicosia (Cyprus). Her academic focus spans Legal Anthropology, Sociology of Law, Cultural Anthropology, and identity politics in tourism contexts.

Dr. Eftychiou has coordinated over 35 funded projects (€1.5M+ total) from the European Commission, UNDP, and domestic bodies. She served as Head of the Erasmus Office at UNIC, managing a 6-member team.

Key research outputs include ethnographic studies on tourism, identity, and ethics, with a 2024 focus on social media practices in academia.
