Evanie Parr is an Adjunct Professor at the Seattle University School of Law. She holds a B.A. in English with a minor in music from the University of Puget Sound (2011) and a J.D. from Seattle University School of Law (2019), graduating summa cum laude. Her roles include serving as a judicial law clerk at the Washington State Supreme Court since 2019 and contributing to legal clinics focused on civil rights and homelessness advocacy.
Her research interests center on constitutional protections for unhoused populations, legal frameworks for homelessness, and civil rights advocacy. Notable works include analyzing Fourth Amendment protections for makeshift dwellings and providing policy guidance for authorized homeless encampments.
Awards include first place in the James E. Bond Moot Court Competition and recognition as a Faculty Trust Scholar. Her professional background includes nonprofit development work in social and racial justice initiatives prior to law school.
