Evan Oxman is an Associate Professor of Politics at Lake Forest College, specializing in political theory, US politics, and public law. He holds a BA Summa Cum Laude from Duke University (2004), an MA (2006), and a PhD (2009) in Politics from Princeton University. His research focuses on questions of political legitimacy, early modern philosophy, and contemporary ethical debates in politics. Recent publications include analyses of anti-Zionism’s moral dimensions and Hobbesian theories of authority.
