Evan Edinger

Evan Edinger is an Associate Professor cross-appointed in Geography, Biology, and Earth Sciences at Memorial University, studying marine ecosystems and conservation.

Education includes Ph.D. from McMaster University on coral reef impacts of pollution.

Research uses ROVs to investigate cold-water coral habitats, rhodolith beds, and marine protected area design. Current projects map seabed biodiversity and carbonate production in subarctic fjords.

Publications emphasize biogeochemical processes in Arctic marine environments and coral aging techniques.
