Dr. Evan Adams is a Coast Salish physician, researcher, and Indigenous scholar from the Tla'amin First Nation, with significant contributions to Indigenous health governance and public health. He has held leadership roles in British Columbia’s health sector, including Deputy Provincial Health Officer and Chief Medical Officer of the First Nations Health Authority.

His research focuses on Indigenous health and wellness, cultural safety, land-based health, community-based research, and population health indicators. He emphasizes systemic change through collaborative approaches rooted in Indigenous knowledge and practices.
