Eva Strīķe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care and Clinical simulations at Riga Stradiņš University. Her research focuses on perioperative care, cardiopulmonary bypass complications, and simulation-based medical education. She leads a project investigating postoperative serum albumin levels and lung injury, and co-authored a national strategy for simulation-based healthcare education (2025–2027). Key areas include cardiac surgery outcomes, ECMO management, and infectious endocarditis mortality risk factors.
Education: Doctor of Medicine (Dr.med.), Expert roles at the Latvian Council of Science (2019–2022 and 2024–2027).
Research Interests: Cardiac surgery complications, perioperative pulmonary complications, cardiopulmonary bypass physiology, and translational research in critical care. Active in clinical trials evaluating albumin therapy and ECMO applications.

Contributed to 49+ peer-reviewed publications and 13 academic activities including conference organization and media engagements.
Labs/Teams: Member of the RSU Working Group for Simulation-Based Education Strategy, Scientific Committee for RSU International Research Conferences, and advisor for multiple healthcare policy initiatives.
