Eva Rueckert

Dr. Eva Rueckert is a Research Scientist at the University of Hamburg working on the PalMod project 'From the Last Interglacial to the Anthropocene'. Her research focuses on paleoceanography, marine biogeochemistry, and model-data comparison of ocean circulation. Previously, she completed her PhD in Environmental Physics at Heidelberg University, investigating interhemispheric deep water exchange using authigenic neodymium isotopes.

Her work bridges experimental oceanography and climate modeling, with particular expertise in proxy development for paleoclimatic reconstructions. Recent publications demonstrate innovative approaches to understanding glacial-interglacial carbon cycle dynamics through isotopic tracers.
