Prof. Dr. Eva Matthes is a full Professor of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Augsburg, Germany. A leading scholar in historical educational research and educational media analysis, she specializes in textbook evaluation, heterogeneity in education, gender studies, and inclusive pedagogy. Her career spans key roles at Erlangen-Nuremberg and Leipzig Universities, culminating in her C4-Lehrstuhl appointment at Augsburg in 2000.
