About
Prof. Eva-Marie Meemken is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Environmental Systems Science, ETH Zürich. Her research focuses on sustainability goals in global food systems, analyzing policies and institutional arrangements related to poverty reduction, gender equality, and food security in lower-income countries. She leads the Food Systems Economics and Policy Group, affiliated with the Institute for Environmental Decisions (IED), Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAS), World Food System Center (WFSC), and ETH4D.

Teaching: She teaches the course World Food System in ETH Zürich’s Autumn Semester 2025.
