Eva Maria Weig

Prof. Eva Maria Weig holds the Chair of Nano and Quantum Sensors at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). She is part of the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology. Her research focuses on nanomechanical systems, quantum engineering, and optomechanics. She has held academic positions since 2004, including Professorships at TUM (2020–present), University of Constance (2013–2020), and LMU Munich (2007–2012).

Her work spans nonlinear dynamics of high-Q resonators, cavity optomechanics, and quantum technologies. She teaches courses like Advanced Topics in Nano and Optomechanical Quantum Technologies and Introduction to Quantum Engineering.
