Dr. Eva Jones is a Professor in the English Department and Coordinator of College and Career Success at Middlesex Community College. She emphasizes the transformative power of writing and reading across personal and societal levels. A strong advocate for community colleges as democratic institutions, she teaches all levels of English to empower students' literacy.
Education: B.A. from Western Connecticut State University, M.A. from Teachers College at Columbia University, and Ph.D. from the University of Rhode Island.
Research interests include writing pedagogy, women's studies, and LGBTQ+ history/culture. She advises the SPEAK club (LGBTQ+ advocacy) and participates in college committees. Her scholarship spans literature, women's studies, and LGBTQ+ advocacy.
