Eunsil Lee

Eunsil Lee is an Associate Professor in the Interior Design Program at Michigan State University's School of Planning, Design and Construction. She joined the faculty in 2008 after earning her PhD from MSU and maintains an active research and teaching profile in sustainable design and human-environment interactions.

Her research focuses on post-occupancy evaluation of green buildings, housing satisfaction, and indoor environmental quality, with specialized interests in lighting-health relationships and culturally responsive residential design. Methodologically, she employs survey research and experimental approaches.

Lee's work demonstrates strong interdisciplinary connections between interior design, facility management, and environmental psychology. Her research trends indicate growing emphasis on sustainability metrics and cross-cultural design applications.

She actively engages with student organizations including the MSU Interior Design Student Organization and USGBC Students, notably co-hosting the NBS Integrative Design Competition in 2018.
