Eugenio Gonzalez is a Research Professor and Senior Research Director at the TIMSS and PIRLS International Study Center at Boston College. His work spans data analysis, psychometrics, and assessment innovations for global educational studies. Previously, he held leadership roles at Educational Testing Service (ETS) as International Survey Director for PISA and PIAAC, and as director of the IEA-ETS Research Institute (IERI). He founded and led the Research and Analysis Unit at IEA-Hamburg (2007-2012) and managed quality control for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) at Boston College.
