Eugene Petracca

Eugene Petracca is a Term Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Barnard College, Columbia University. He holds a PhD from Columbia University (2020) and specializes in medieval literature, with a focus on Dante and Chaucer. His research explores transnational influences in dream poetry and theoretical approaches to literary analysis.

His work intersects world literature, translation studies, and the reception of Greco-Roman antiquity. Current projects examine deconstructionist and psychoanalytic frameworks in medieval texts.
