Eugene Martin is a Professor of Film Production and Director of the MFA Program at the University of North Texas. A multidisciplinary filmmaker, he creates hybrid narrative/documentary works exploring at-risk youth, immigration narratives, and urban America through over 100 international film festival screenings and major distribution platforms including Netflix and Amazon.
His academic credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Film from Temple University and membership in the Directors Guild of America since 2013. Current research involves a Routledge Press monograph on directing non-actors for screen media.
