Euan R. Brown

Euan R. Brown is an Associate Professor at Heriot-Watt University's School of Engineering & Physical Sciences, affiliated with the Institute of Biological Chemistry, Biophysics and Bioengineering. His research focuses on biophysics at the intersection of biomedical science, emphasizing membrane ion channels and electrical sensing for biomedical applications. He leads projects funded by the Medical Research Scotland, Multiple Sclerosis Society, MRC CiC, and industry partners like Epigem Ltd and SNBTS. Current projects include developing microfluidic chips for MS research, islet quality assessment devices, and screening compounds using hERG channels.
