Ettie Rosenberg

Ettie Rosenberg, PharmD, JD, holds dual roles as Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Professor of Pharmacy Practice at West Coast University’s School of Pharmacy. She earned her PharmD from the University of Southern California and her JD from Southwestern University School of Law, both in Los Angeles. Her work focuses on pharmacy education innovation, legal issues in practice, and medical marijuana policy. She pioneered the Mock Trial Project, an active learning strategy recognized with an Honorable Mention in the 2017 AACP Innovations in Teaching Competition. This project evolved into the annual AACP Mock Trial Competition, now in its second year (2023).

Rosenberg’s research explores pharmacy law, patient care expansion, and interprofessional collaboration. Her publications span topics such as virtual mock trials during the pandemic, DEA regulatory critiques, and California’s post-Proposition 64 marijuana policies. She has authored over 10 peer-reviewed articles and presented at national conferences, including AACP and the American Society for Pharmacy and Law. As an invited speaker, she has addressed topics like cannabis curriculum development and legislative updates on marijuana policy.

Her academic leadership includes developing leadership programs for pharmacy students and advancing remediation strategies in pharmacy education. Rosenberg has collaborated with institutions across the U.S. to enhance pharmacy education quality and student preparedness. Her work bridges legal, ethical, and clinical dimensions of pharmacy practice, emphasizing practical skills for future pharmacists.
