Ethan Spigland is a Professor in the Humanities and Media Studies Department at the Pratt Institute School of Liberal Arts & Sciences. His interdisciplinary work bridges film, media studies, philosophy, and visual arts.
- Education: B.A. from Yale University, M.F.A. from New York University, and Maîtrise in Philosophy from University of Paris VIII under Gilles Deleuze and Jean-François Lyotard.
Spigland is an award-winning screenwriter, filmmaker, critic, and curator. His projects include collaborations with architect Steven Holl and appearances at Sundance and SXSW. His work explores media aesthetics, cultural narratives, and interdisciplinary art practices.
