Eta A. Isiorho

Eta A. Isiorho is a Research Assistant Professor and Director of the Macromolecular Crystallization Facility at the Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC) within The City University of New York (CUNY). She leads a facility providing crystallization services, X-ray data collection, and structural biology support to academic and industrial researchers globally. Previously, she served as a postdoctoral fellow and macromolecular staff scientist in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Auburn University.

Her research focuses on elucidating protein-ligand interactions and biochemical mechanisms using X-ray crystallography, with a strong emphasis on optimizing crystallization techniques for challenging biomolecules. She actively promotes accessibility to structural biology tools for underrepresented communities through educational outreach and guest lectures within the Structural Biology Initiative (SBI) at the ASRC.
