Esther Takeuchi is a SUNY Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Interdisciplinary Science Department at Brookhaven National Laboratory. She holds a joint appointment at Stony Brook University, where she serves as Co-Director of the Institute of Energy, Sustainability, and Equity and Founding Director of the Center for Mesoscale Transport Properties, an Energy Frontier Research Center.
