Esther Roca Batllori

Esther Roca Batllori is a Lecturer at the Department of Management and Technology of Bocconi University since 2013. Prior to this, she served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Business Administration of Universidad Carlos III in Madrid and was officially accredited as an Associate Professor in Spain in 2015. She has also taught at ICADE-Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid and Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.

• Education: BA in Philosophy from University of Navarra; Master's in Theory of Management from University of Navarra-IESE; PhD in Philosophy and Organizations from University of Navarra-IESE.

Her research lies at the intersection of Strategy and Business Ethics, focusing on how firms can benefit from investments in social values and the strategic opportunities and challenges of hybrid companies. She has published extensively in leading journals like Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, and Journal of Business Ethics.

Her recent publications explore themes such as social business hybrids, product longevity in ethical contexts, and community-focused strategies. These works highlight the interplay between ethical investing, corporate social responsibility, and organizational innovation.
