Esen Andic-Mortan

Esen Andic-Mortan serves as an Associate Professor of Management within the Department of Management and Marketing at North Central College.

• Ph.D. in Business Administration - Logistics, The Ohio State University (2016), with Minor in Consumer Behavior and Graduate Concentration in Quantitative Psychology

Research Expertise: Dr. Andic-Mortan specializes in sustainable supply chain management with emphasis on social sustainability, performance measurement systems, and humanitarian logistics. Her work integrates environmentally friendly logistics practices, human-factor analysis in supply chains, and disaster relief operations. She pioneers sustainability education through game-based learning methodologies.

Teaching Portfolio: She instructs undergraduate courses including Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Production/Operations Management, Topics in Business Sustainability, and Sustainability Performance Measurement. At the graduate level, she teaches Global Supply Chain Design and Management and Data Analytics for Managers.
