Eryadi Masli

Dr. Eryadi Masli is a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Swinburne University of Technology's School of Business, Law and Entrepreneurship. He holds additional roles as a Visiting Professor at University of Brawijaya (Indonesia) and serves on the Board of Trustees at Sanata Dharma University. His expertise bridges academia and industry, with a focus on sustainable entrepreneurship, corporate finance, and innovation.

Research Interests: Financing new ventures, frugal innovation, financial inclusion, and corporate sustainability. He has published in journals like Journal of Cleaner Production and co-authored books on frugal innovation processes.

Teaching: Known for 'learning-by-doing' methodologies, he has received multiple teaching awards at university and international levels. Courses include Marketing Innovation Management, Asia-Business Context, and entrepreneurship core units at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Industry Experience: 12 years as equity analyst/investment banker in Thailand/Singapore, advising on IPOs, M&A, and corporate finance. Currently co-founder/director of mDetect and SensFit Technologies.

Grants & Projects: Secured over $1.1M AusAID grant for integrated impact assessments in ASEAN, and recent grants include projects on circular economy, inclusive design markets, and sustainable manufacturing.
