Prof. Dr. Erwin Steinhauser serves as Professor and Vice-Dean of Faculty 06 at Munich University of Applied Sciences, with his office located at Lothstraße 34, Munich. His career bridges academic research and medical technology industry applications, including prior leadership of a biomechanical research laboratory at Technical University of Munich's Orthopedics Clinic.
His research specializes in biomaterials engineering for clinical applications, with core expertise in mechanical characterization of biological tissues and development of orthopedic, trauma surgery, and dental implants.
